The success of the Azure Twilight is based on a solid command structure. Our Azure Officers are in charge. They have complete responsibility for all outfit activities and discipline up to and including kicking members from the outfit. Show them your respect. Follow their orders. Respond to their /tells.
Our Azure Officers are:
So you are looking to be an Officer in the Azure Twilight? That's great because we are always looking for people who demonstrate leadership capabilities. We have a program called "Officer-in-Training". What we look for in an Officer is a mature, level-headed person that not only knows the AT rules and tactics but also follows them very well. The people we consider for leadership are those that are always in position, one of the first in the gal, and always stay with their squad. We notice people who volunteer when we ask for something and step up to lead outfit Ops when an Officer is not online. You should have BOTH the ability AND the strong desire to lead Ops. Over time you should be able to look at the map and pick targets that are strategically beneficial to us. You should fully understand AT tactics and choose the right ones for the situation. We don't expect you to know everything at first, but we do expect you to learn and grow into the role. As an Officer-in-Training (OiT) you will be coordinating with Officers on Teamspeak using channel commander. You are encouraged to communicate with them and ask questions. In addition, Azure Veterans are a terrific source of information and advice as they are recognized as people that know Azure Twilight's rules and strategies. So feel free to talk to them.
There are some criteria you must meet before being considered for Officer-in-Training. They are:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Becoming an Officer-in-Training is the first step towards becoming an Azure Officer. However, it does not guarantee that you will be made an Officer. By having a review process we will provide feedback and, in some cases, decide that it does not make sense to promote you to Officer and you will leave the program. Please note that this does not mean we don't like you or want you to leave the outfit. It only means that we, as a group, feel that you are not what we are looking for as an Officer. We are very serious about Azure Twilight leadership and consider it our number one priority to have the very best officers in Planetside. | |||||
